The Harry Price Timeline

The pages in this section comprise a chronological list of the events & happenings in the life of Harry Price.  The data is in a  tabulated form which displays three series of information & the way that this information is related to each other.  The timeline simultaneously shows specific events & happenings in Price's own life; parallel events which are relevant to Price's work & cases and finally world events which put Price's world into a more broader context.  The timeline is in sections which roughly correspond to major developments in Price's career & it has been extended after 1948, the year of Price's death, to the present time so that all the events which have affected his reputation can be recorded in the same format.

Use the links below to access the timeline by period:-

The first draft of the Timeline is now online.  This is quite openly a work in progress and more information will be added in due course.  The basic structure of Price's life is set out but there are obvious gaps and there is some catching up with the world events but this will continue to be improved upon.
