Photograph of the east elevation of Borley Rectory taken from the lawn in the closing years of the nineteenth century.  In the picture are the Rev. Henry Dawson Ellis Bull, his wife (possibly the two people sitting in front of the drawing room window) and seven of their daughters.  Compare this photograph with that taken from a similar position by Sidney H. Glanville over forty years later in June 1937 at the beginning of Harry price's tenancy of the building.  (Photograph - Mary Evans Picture Library)
