Cutting from the Australian newspaper The Herald (circa May 1947)

Introduction

The Borley story first made newspaper headlines when Mr V.C. Wall first published his series of articles in the Daily Mirror newspaper in June 1929, the occasion which first brought Harry Price to the Rectory for the very first time.  Ever since then, the public's fascination with tales of ghosts and hauntings has ensured that stories of Borley Rectory always guarantees good copy and the 'Most Haunted House in England' has literally haunted the headlines down through the years to the present day.

This part of the website is an on-going project to chart the history of Borley Rectory through the medium of press cuttings and magazine articles.  Contributions by visitors to the site are most welcomed through the general mailbox@harryprice.co.uk e-mail.  The cuttings are listed in chronological order and can be accessed by clicking on the titles.  Please note that some of the images may take a time to load.
